Policies & Procedures

Monthly Tuition is due on the first of the month. Failure to remit payment by the 5th of the month will result in a $10 late fee. Payments may be made via the following options: Cash, Check, or Credit Card, you may also enroll in autopay.

If joining after the 1st week of the month, tuition will be pro-rated by the week.

We're closed the following holidays. Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, Memorial Day, Fourth of July.

Any payment that is not honored by their financial institution will result in a $25 service charge. No discounts or pro-rated options will be provided for scheduled days off, holidays, illness, family events or school functions. Pro-rates only apply when joining a class initially. For neglected payments student participation may be suspended until the account is brought current. All registration fees, tuition, costumes, recital, and other payments are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

Annual performances are held once a year in June. Every students is automatically put into our yearly recital, in the event you want to opt out of recital you must give written notice no later than November 1st.

To withdraw from a class or multiple classes a withdraw form must be filled out and either emailed or dropped off at the studio. You must return the form by the 15th of the previous month to not be charged for the following month. I.E. If you wish to not be charged for November Tuition, you must return your drop form by October  15th.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to be aware of all studio activities such as but not limited to, holidays, recitals, extra practices, dates the studio is closed. Creative Movement Dance Academy will post this information to our Parent FB page: Creative Movement Dance Parents, send emails,  as well as post notices in the studio parent room. It is the parent/guardians responsibility to check for any information. It is also the parent/guardians responsibility to let the studio know of any address, phone changes, email address, etc. If you are not receiving communications please contact the studio immediately.

All non-participating children  must be accompanied by a parent/guardian when in the studio. Everyone must keep voice level to a minimum to not interrupt classes, and children are not permitted to run around in the lobby.

Parents are to drop off their students age 10+ at the front door of the studio then wait until their class is over in the parent area, students under the age of 10 may wait in the parent room until their class time begins. There is one restroom at the studio and it is in our main dance room. So if you need to use the restroom while you are there we ask that you quietly enter the room using the front door without disrupting classes, then immediately head back to the parent room.

Parents may drop off their students at the studio no more than 15 minutes before their class time, and pickup no more than 15 minutes after their last class. If they need to stay longer the parent must let the director or teacher know of this.

All parents and/or legal guardians waive to any and all legal action against Creative Movement Dance Academy for any injury sustained on property resulting from but no limited to normal activities conducted by students and their family members/guests before/after and during their classes, this includes horseplay.

If a student gets injured in class it is their responsibility to notify the teacher right away, and a injury report will be filled out and sent home with the student or given to the parent.

Creative Movement Dance Academy is hereby granted permission to take videos/photos of the student to use for advertising purposes in good taste. Creative Movement Dance Academy will post picture to our website, facebook pages, etc.
