Lauren Preston grew up in Ballwin, MO where she began dance and vocal lessons at the age of three. She is a graduate of Parkway South High School, where she was active in theater, poms, and show choir. After graduation Lauren continued her education at Lindenwood University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. While there she studied ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, tap, and musical theater technique, as well as the history and composition of dance. After graduating from Lindenwood, Lauren knew she was destined to be a choreographer and instructor in order to help instill the overwhelming passion she has for dance in others. She began her career at Dance Inc. where she is currently teaching ballet, lyrical, musical theater, jazz, and tap. Lauren has experience working with all age groups from three to 18 and on. Her style of teaching is nurturing as well as very disciplined. She firmly believes the etiquette that comes along with dance training is as important as the technique to create well-rounded individuals.
